Description

The State of Georgia’s Georgia Helping Educate Reservists and their Offspring (HERO) Scholarship Program provides educational assistance to members of the Georgia National Guard and U.S. military reservists who served in combat zones, as well as to the spouse and children of such members.

Process

Applicants must file an application for the initial HERO Scholarship award no later than two years after gaining eligibility. A renewal application must be completed each academic year.
