The Peer Financial Counseling Program uses peer-to-peer mentoring to help students manage their finances, increase their understanding of financial concepts, and access helpful resources and support. By participating, students gain the skills and knowledge to make informed financial decisions that support their academic and life goals.

Program Goals

College and financial aid decisions are becoming increasingly deliberate, and changes in financial aid may affect students’ planning. The Peer Financial Counseling Program helps students navigate these decisions confidently by increasing financial knowledge and providing guidance. The goal is to empower students to establish healthy, long-term financial habits that support both their academic success and their lives beyond college.
