Student financial aid applicants and recipients must adhere to the UGA Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy; therefore,
- Undergraduate students Academically Dismissed from UGA who do not have any transfer credit from another post-secondary institution will have previously failed to meet the SAP Measurement of Quality component and will have been notified by the UGA Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA).
- Undergraduate students Academically Dismissed from UGA who also have transfer credit from another post-secondary institution(s) may or may not be meeting the SAP Measurement of Quality component because transfer credits are included in the evaluation of SAP. These students should contact UGA OSFA to confirm their financial aid eligibility status.
