Prorating Undergraduate Subsidized & Unsubsidized Annual Loan Limits

The annual maximum Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized Loan amounts undergraduate students can receive must be prorated when they are awarded a one semester loan because they are graduating at the end of the awarded semester and enroll in fewer than 15 hours.

Prorated loan amount(s) are calculated by multiplying the number of hours in which the student is enrolled by the applicable Grade Level 4 Undergraduate Student Subsidized and Unsubsidized Annual Limit and dividing the result by 30 hours.
