00:00:20.760 --> 00:00:24.271
It ensures that the courses you take
truly support your declared major and

a98959ee-ca01-4269-ade5-8ce335dd3ae6-1
00:00:24.271 --> 00:00:26.800
that they count towards your overall aid
eligibility.

00:00:27.880 --> 00:00:30.760
Knowing this early can save you from
future surprises.

federal aid eligibility and toward your

00:00:41.280 --> 00:00:44.080
Keep in mind,
CPOS only has an impact on federal

financial aid.

00:00:48.760 --> 00:00:52.573
This means that choosing the right
courses, not just any courses,

00:00:52.573 --> 00:00:53.960
is incredibly important.

00:00:56.160 --> 00:01:00.516
Many students are surprised to find that
some electives or extra classes don't

00:01:02.840 --> 00:01:06.891
This often happens when someone changes
their major or explores classes outside
