Freshman College Summer Experience (FCSE)

Georgia Resident (In-State) Students:

Georgia resident students and the parents of dependent students must complete the 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order for the student to be considered for the Federal Pell Grant; Federal Direct Subsidized Loan, Unsubsidized Loan, Federal Parent PLUS Loan and the HOPE or Zell Miller Scholarship for Summer 2018 FCSE.  The U.S. Department of Education will not process a 2017-18 FAFSA they receive after June 30, 2018!

Georgia resident students and the parents of dependent students must also complete the 2018-19 FAFSA in order to be considered for Federal Student Aid (FSA) and the HOPE or the Zell Miller Scholarship for the 2018-19 Award Year which begins Fall 2018.

Georgia resident students wishing to apply only for the HOPE or Zell Miller Scholarship should see Georgia Scholarship/Grant Application (GSFAPPS).  

Non-Resident (Out-of-State) Students:

Non-resident students and the parents of dependent students must complete the 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order for the student to be considered for Federal Pell Grant; Federal Direct Subsidized Loan; Unsubsidized Loan; Federal Parent PLUS Loan for Summer 2018 FCSE.  The U.S. Department of Education will not process a 2017-18 FAFSA they receive after June 30, 2018!

Non-resident students and the parents of dependent students must also complete the 2018-19 FAFSA in order to be considered for federal student aid for the 2018-19 Award Year which begins Fall 2018.
