The Georgia Public Safety Memorial Grant

The Georgia Public Safety Memorial Grant is awarded to the son or daughter of any Georgia law enforcement officer, fire fighter, EMT, corrections officer or prison guard who was permanently disabled or killed in the line of duty. This program is funded by the Georgia Lottery for Education and covers the Cost of Attendance at a Georgia public post-secondary institution, minus other gift aid received, including the Law Enforcement Personnel Dependents Grant.
